¿Could someone confirm if this common convention is the one used in ccx?.

I believe it is described in the book authored by Guido. The picture you show looks accurate.
It’s not covered directly in Guido’s book or Abaqus documentation but both these solvers use Cauchy stress tensor and that’s where this convention comes from. At least from the mordern standard interpretation of Cauchy’s stress theory in general engineering solid mechanics since e.g. rock mechanics may use a different convention.
