For a discussion I need to upload a Calculix inp file. However, I receive the following error message –
Instead, if I try to merge the inp file into my post then, “The body is limited to 32000 characters; you entered 149908”.

maybe it is only possible to upload pictures.
So you have to create download link for your inp.file
or you post in several posts !?
but the better way is to create a download for your inp.file

the best solution is, to simplify your problem,
that you can put in here, so simple as possible.
you can use https://pastebin.com/ to share text. On the other hand, I support the idea of making minimal working examples, those are usually request in other forums of software/computer languages.
