Read the content of the f3d binary file

I would like to read the content of the f3d binary file. Is there a description of its format?
Thanks,
Adrian

Don’t you mean frd which is results file in CalculiX ? f3d is Fusion 360 format.

Thanks for the reply. I did not expect that CalculiX uses the Autodesk Fusion 360 binary format to write out the finite element solution (displacement, strain, stress components) in the f3d file. Do you know the extension of the Autodesk Fusion 360 results file? I never used Fusion 360. Thank you.

No, I said that CalculiX uses FRD, not F3D.

I messed up my post. Yes, frd not f3d. That was an unfortunate typo.
The correct post is: “I would like to read the content of the frd binary file. Is there a description of its format?”

I see. You can find the description of this format in the CalculiX GraphiX User’s Manual (chapter 11. Result Format): http://www.dhondt.de/cgx_2.21.pdf

Thank you. I am all set.
