Publicly available references for the models behind CalculiX

Hi,

I an currently writing my master thesis and I want to describe in a paragraph the models used by CalculiX. Is there somewhere a reference, where the underlying models, equations and numerical methods are explained? I found some elements in the documentation for ccx and cgx but I am not satisfied with that.
