Hello all. I am running CalculiX 2.23 via PreProMax 2.5.0. I have been looking at some thermal models and I have been trying to implement the analysis of some internal cavity radiation. When enabled, the simulations would not complete. After communication over on the PrePoMax forum, I had been advised to post over here as well. As far as we could tell, this seems to be the same issue experienced on this previous thread:
It seems to be an integer count issue with the memory allocation with a sideload variable.
After communicating with Dr Guido Dhonte, they recommended I try to use an integer*8 version of calculix to get around this 32 bit limitation. Before I go about recompiling this myself, I wanted to check if anyone on here had already compiled a Windows Interger8 build of calculix 2.23 and was willing to share it here?
Thank you for sharing that. I replaced my ccx_dynamic with that and did get successful, non radiation simulations. I also got successful smaller model radiations sims to work but unfortunately My larger model still wont complete running. Some further investigation required.
