How to bring paper calculation into CalculiX?

How did you arrive at 2mm, tell me please

with a little change to inp file

I have a vertical line in the drawing area.

just run your model…output for step2, step 1 looks awkward because is unbalanced, both loads should be in the same step (you get that in step 2 because calculix adds every step on top of the other ones unless you add perturbation keyword)

My initial idea was to simulate a steel structure welding distortion before a real welding takes place.
I find some FEM software as goma specializes on film coating, warp3d specializes on fatigue & fracture analyses primarily in metals.
