I am a materials engineer who has been very hands on with materials processing and characterization. I have worked from filtered arc deposition to high pressure high temperature synthesis of diamond. My mechanical characterization experiences have ranged from nano indentation of aluminum weldments shockwave processed to high temperature strength and fracture characterization.

Now, I am learning how to use Finite Element Analysis to look at phenomena that is not easily analyzed by standard physical characterization techniques.
