just sharing info, PrePoMax has porting project by contributor, and it seems designed to run natively or flawlessly on Linux, it have Code\_Aster as alternate solver also.

Great. Should have a window version. Then one version for all platforms.

mixed solver in one interface may not good path due to compatibility between each of them and specific purpose, probably something like Ubuntu with different flavor of desktop interface.

- PrePoMax CalculiX
- PrePoMax Code\_Aster
- PrePoMax Radioss/OpenCourant
- PrePoMax FrontISTR
- PrePoMax OOFEM
- etc

bonus, working with SolidCraft as modeler can be a good match.

If ppm changes, others need more effort to update.

Concentrate on ccx, makes ppm the best for ccx.

I have made ppm to output openRadioss inp file with the converter. Also made ppm to load vtk file. Just need to reduce the update when ppm changes.

the reason why Ubuntu have no Gnome versions, it’s a default.
