# Detection of Flawed Mesh or Element in INP File

You can use `*NO ANALYSIS` to run an input deck check. Regarding the mesh, if there are elements with negative jacobians, they will be detected too. Apart from that, you could check some mesh quality measures but outside of CalculiX: [Mesh Quality Check](https://calculix.discourse.group/t/mesh-quality-check/743)
