# Calculix solver breaks/terminates without an error with models larger 250k elements

Using the i8 compiled version of ccx 2.18 in the bconverged windows compilation did not help ([CalculiX and PaStiX solver Windows version - #42 by rafal.brzegowy](https://calculix.discourse.group/t/calculix-and-pastix-solver-windows-version/130/42))

also the updated version with the “new frd.c” ([Steady state dynamics randomly terminates without error - #43 by rafal.brzegowy](https://calculix.discourse.group/t/steady-state-dynamics-randomly-terminates-without-error/1279/43)) did not change anything
